Acceptable Use Policy for the I Live In Lanzarote Email Service

We encourage you to make full use of the I Live In Lanzarote service as long as you abide by our Terms of Service and our prohibition on spamming and unethical marketing activities. The following are some examples of spamming that may violate the Terms of Service and our Acceptable Use Policy:

• Manipulating identifiers, such as email headers, to disguise the origin of any content transmitted to or through our computer systems.
• Relaying email from a third party's mail servers without the permission of that third party.
• Using or causing to be used our computer systems to facilitate the transmission of unsolicited or unauthorized material. This includes any promotional materials, URLs, "junk mail," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of unauthorized solicitation that you may upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available.
• Using "robots" or otherwise harvesting other's email addresses from the service for purposes of sending unsolicited or unauthorized material.
• Uploading, posting, emailing, or transmitting the same message, URL, or post multiple times.

Certain of our services may have additional spam guidelines explaining appropriate conduct for those services. Those additional policies are incorporated by reference into this Acceptable Use Policy. It is the user's responsibility to check the service guidelines for additional details regarding spam.

You must not attempt to store more than 10Mb of email in your free mail folders - attempting to do so with result in your email being deleted from our server and / or possible automatic suspension of your account.  If you need more space please contact us to upgrade your account.

Violations of our Terms of Service or this Acceptable Use Policy may result in legal action against you and the termination, without notice, of your account and/or anything associated with it, including, but not limited to, email accounts, posts, stored messages and attachments. Nothing in this policy is intended to grant any right to transmit email to or through our computer systems. We do not waive any rights by the failure to enforce this policy in every instance in which it might apply.

YOU SHOULD ALSO NOTE THAT THIS ACCOUNT / DOMAIN MAY NOT BE USED TO SEND COMMERCIAL / BUSINESS EMAIL AS THE SERVICE PROVIDES NO SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT.  WE HAVE MONITORING COMPONENTS WHICH SCAN INCOMING AND OUTGOING EMAILS FOR KEYWORDS (AS PART OF OUR SPAM FILTERING) AND SO WE CANNOT GUARANTEE BUSINESS SERVICES WITH THIS ACCOUNT.  ANY ACCOUNT FOUND TO BE USING THE SERVICE FOR BUSINESS PURPOSES (AS REPORTED BY OUR ANTI-SPAM COMPONENTS) WILL BE DELETED WITHIN SEVEN (7) DAYS OF A BREACH OF THIS POLICY BEING DETECTED.  IF WE DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT YOUR MAILBOX WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE, YOUR CONTACTS WILL BE REMOVED, AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RETRIEVE INFORMATION FROM OUR NETWORK - DELETED MEANS DELETED.

NOTICE: Sending unsolicited email advertisements to or through our computer systems will use or cause to be used servers located in the United Kingdom and Spain. Any unauthorized use of our computer systems is a violation of the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and certain other laws, which may include the UK Computer Misuse Act, The Data Protection Act, and other European Laws. Such violations may subject the sender and his or her agents to civil and criminal penalties.

WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR SPAM, JUNK MAIL, PYRAMID SCHEMES, AND CHAIN LETTERS - ANYONE FORWARDING A CHAIN LETTER WILL HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT DELETED WITHOUT WARNING.
